MS. TERESA NEVOLA MOVER
Conshohocken,Pennsylvania
Ms. Teresa Nevola Moyer
is an Associate Professor of Voice and Associate Director of Theatre at Eastern
University. She holds a Master of Music in Opera Performance and an Artist's
Diploma in Voice from Curtis Institute of
Music, as well as a BA in music Education
from Rutgers University. She currently
studies voice with Dr. Thomas Houser. Other
teachers have included Todd Duncan and Joan Patenaude-Yamell.
Ms. Moyer is an ensemble member of the Opera Company of Philadelphia and
the Philadelphia Singers Chorale, the
Symphonic Chorus of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She performed as a member of
the Bridge Ensemble (Spoleto Festival Choir
and Opera Chorus, Spoleto, Italy), and is a frequent recitalist
and freelance singer in the Philadelphia area. She teaches voice and directs musical
theatre at Eastern University. She also maintains a private voice studio in her
home in Conshohocken, where she lives with her husband, Stephen. We
wholeheartedly welcome her to our Eisteddfod.

REV. DR. WILLIAM R. SUMMERHILL,
JR.
Kingston,Pennsylvania
We are happy to welcome back as our
Adjudicator of Recitation the Rev. Dr. Surnmerhill.
He has served our "Cynonfardd" Eisteddfod
well in the past by being one of our competent adjudicators. Dr. Summerhill brings to us
his own Welsh heri- tage
through his mother, Mary Evans of Wilkes-Barre. He has performed in many dramatic
and musical ensembles in schools and communities where he has lived. Dr. Summerhill,
Academic Dean of Wyoming Seminary, is also Chaplain and teacher of Religion and
Public Speaking at
Wyoming Seminary. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Religion at the Penn State University, Mont Alto Campus; Chaplain
of the Quincy UM
Home; Pastor of the Roxbury UM Charge in Southern Pennsylvania, and an
Associate Pastor and choir director of Rockville
Christian Church, suburban Washington, DC.

MRS. BETTY L. JONES

Mrs. .
Betty L. Jones is very familiar to those of you who have attended our St.
David's Day Teas and Gymanfa
Ganus. We lovingly call her our "Bread
Lady". However, she brings much more than this to our congregation. She
was bom in England, educated in Pontllanfraith,
South Wales, worked in the Civil Service in London for several years and also
taught in an
Elementary School before coming to America. She has worked as a bookkeeper in Natona Mill, Inc.,
Dallas. She and her husband, Tom, are members of Dr. Edwards Memorial Church
where she serves as recording secretary, a member of the Eisteddfod and Ethnic
Committees, Senior Choir, VBS teacher and a
willing volunteer for any job needed. Betty and Tom have three children and
four grandchildren. We feel very fortunate to have her with us.

DANIEL J.
HUGHES
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Daniel J. Hughes,
a Wilkes—Barre
native, is a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Penn State University, State
College with a Bachelors Degree in quantitative analysis, and a Cum Laude graduate of American Academy McAllister Institute of funeral Service in New
York City. Currently, he is a funeral director with the M.J. McLaughlin Co., Inc.;
serves as a
deputy coroner for Luzeme
County, and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission. Mr. Hughes is
active in many civic and fraternal organizations, including serving as Past
President of St. David's Society and a current member of the leadership
Wilkes-Barre Class of 2004. We are pleased to have him participate at our
Eisteddfod.
