Dear Classmate,
After reviewing numerous locations and menus, the committee selected the Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estates in Dallas as the location for our 50th Reunion to be held OCTOBER 11 ,2008. The Menus selected are further down this letter. We believe will have something for everyone. Dress will be casual. This is a non-smoking facility. Rather than having a DJ or band, we are considering a Juke Box with the golden oldies of our early years. Of course... all of this using the remade crystal clear CD's. Preliminary costs will be approximately $50.00 to $55.00 per person.
We are considering a Friday Night Meet and Greet. This would be held at the local hotel where we will be blocking some rooms. We want to also plan something for Saturday Daytime such as touring KHS or seeing other local interests. If you have any ideas, please let us know. We are also considering a Sunday Brunch. Any of these would be optional and individually paid for by each classmate and will not be included in the Ticket price for the reunion.
Bill Evans, Mary Louise Thomas' husband, has volunteered to be the webmaster of our Classes web site. Bill has dedicated our website in memory of Mary Louise who passed away 10/10/2005. Please check out our class's website at:

We are trying to get an idea as to who is interested in attending our event. A questionnaire was sent to everyone that we asked to have returned to us showing your intentions. It is also printed below if you did not get the letter. This is not a commitment on your part. It will give us an idea as to who is or is not interested.
We also included 3 raffle tickets in the mailing for a 50/50 drawing to be held during the reunion dinner. The proceeds of this event will be used to defray the cost of mailing, and other expenses. We ask that you consider purchasing these tickets. They are 3 for $5.00.
We are asking that you return your questionnaire, with or without your check by August 15th 2007 so that we may proceed with the plans.
